The significance of water needs no emphasis, without it, we would simply cease to exist. What we hope to capture is the mortality of this life baring element, one that is taken for granted by all of us.
YESTERDAY, TODAY, TOMORROW
Water, the driving force of nature, is an ever constant element. From the dawn of the planet, we’ve known it to bare life. Today it is yet another victim to human corruption. In our city alone, the level of pollutants in the water exceeds the permissible levels by alarming amounts. The unfortunate reality is that despite the very evident facts, not much is being done to prevent further pollution. The time for saying “increase awareness” and “educate the masses” is long gone. Fast and drastic steps need to be immediately put into effect. The resource that we assumed will last forever is depleted at a rate much faster than anything we could have anticipated. It is the duty of every citizen of this planet to protect this element. It is not simply ours to take. With each passing day, we get closer to the reality where water is not just a resource, but a measure of wealth. What then becomes of all the other living beings on earth that cannot match up to the greed of humans? The mistakes of yesterday needs to be corrected today so that tomorrow will be a better place!
