The experience of exploring the edges along the water.

Water is the most precious gift to the humanity by the nature. Life on the earth is possible only because of water. Water is Scared and celebrated in Indian culture, Ghats at Varanasi and Stepwells in Rajasthan and Gujrat, are not simple utilitarian Structures but these are the places of recreation and celebration of life and death.

Today’s context the interface of land and water is neglected. Edges of water are distorted and replaced as backyard the land value along water is decreasing and the urban fabric is imposed on fertile land.Motion picture is referred as massage to society. When edge of water is accessible. Part mundane activity, recreation and celebration. This was seen in our earlier cities, where the entire settlement is along the interface. The walk towards and along a cheerful stream is journey towards and within nature. The link between man and water is established, which was appreciated in our history.

We live in culture, where water is worshiped and considers as most sacred. When we will treat land and water interface as temple? Where the relationship between man natures is more resilient.
