In today's day and age, Waterbodies and waterscapes are being exploited in the name of the view it provides and as a marketing value in the building industry. We've all heard large scale housing companies using lakes and water bodies to market their projects.

But are we really seeing the bigger picture? The waterbodies are being exploited by these same housing projects and also by other sources.

Would we in future have the same view that the waterbody is providing us now if this continued? Doesn't the society have to do much more than just seeing what is show to them?
